Ethical Funds

Many investors would like to put their money where their morals are by investing in companies that help rather than harm the planet, its people and its animals. However, some are put off ethical funds because of the perceived risk of investing in an ethically restricted portfolio.

Skandia Investment Management’s MultiManager approach to ethical investment seeks to diversify this risk by spreading the investment between different managers. Currently we offer one Ethical Fund split between five equity managers.

Where we invest
The managers are chosen not only on the basis that they are leaders in their fields, but also that they offer complementary investment approaches.

By blending a portfolio of global equities managed by JPMorgan Asset Management with four retail ethical funds from Norwich Union, Aegon, F&C and Impax, Skandia Investment Management aims to provide a well diversified fund which also meets strict ethical screening criteria.

Ethical Investment Criteria
Skandia’s Ethical Investment criteria are amongst the strictest available. We employ Ethical Screening, an independent monitoring group, to ensure our strict ethical principles are met. For more information view our Ethical Fund Screening process leaflet.
