Ethical Funds

Many investors would like to put their money where their morals are by investing in companies that help rather than harm the planet, its people and its animals. However, some are put off ethical funds because of the perceived risk of investing in an ethically-restricted portfolio.

The Skandia Ethical Fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth and income through investment in a well-diversified portfolio of international securities, issued by companies that demonstrate sound ethical practice.

We have chosen Impax to run the Fund as they are a leader in their field with many years of experience and a proven track record.

Impax is an investment management company specialising in investing in companies that are developing products and services to mitigate and solve some of the world’s most pressing environment problems. Investments are made in companies providing or using technology-based products or services in environmental markets, such as:

• alternative energy and efficiency
• water treatment and pollution control
• waste management.

Ethical investment criteria
