Skandia Diversified Fund

With effect from 15 May 2009, Skandia’s Cautious Fund will be known as the Skandia Diversified Fund. This will coincide with important changes to its investment powers, asset allocation policy and performance objective, giving the Fund far greater investment flexibility.

The Diversified Fund aims to provide investors with long-term capital growth through investment in a diversified range of asset classes.

In addition to traditional asset classes such as equities, fixed income and cash, the Diversified Fund will invest in a broad range of alternative assets and investment strategies, including commodities, currencies, volatility and absolute return.

These will be accessed through a blend of bespoke segregated mandates and leading collective investment funds, carefully selected and monitored by Skandia Investment Management.

The Fund will employ a flexible and dynamic approach to asset allocation, enabling us to add value by adapting the portfolio to different market conditions, subject to a clear set of risk controls.
